The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. is creating innovative technological solutions to continue making more and more manufacturing jobs accessible to people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities. Since 1951 over 9,000 people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities have worked on or benefitted from our jobs and employee support services across the country.

As part of the universal #GivingTuesday campaign, we invite you to provide the opportunity for children to learn that people who are blind can do just as much as people who are sighted. The School Tour Program at the Lighthouse incorporates all of our programs and services and delivers clear demonstrations of what people with disabilities are capable of doing when given the right supports to be successful in their jobs. In the spirit of education and opportunity, you can’t go wrong with contributing to your community in this way. We are offering some fun incentives for #GivingTuesday, but a gift of any amount has an impact.
