“Seattle Lighthouse Dance and Exercise Class Begins!” by Lighthouse Employee Keri Brent

Because the National White Cane Safety Day flash mob was such a success, Seattle Lighthouse has decided to continue with a dance and exercise class.  For the first class we had a great turn out with twenty-two interested folks ready to move!  The class was similar to what we did when practicing for the flash mob, but the class felt to me like more of a workout.  I believe everyone enjoyed the class and would agree that it was fun and great exercise.  I think it’s wonderful that the Lighthouse is providing this because movement is not just good for the body, but good for the mind as well.
